I like the slim design and the method of holding my cards although it can be a fiddle to get them out. Now shipping the lot back and I will buy a cheaper alternative on another site. Even the metal on the cash strap has worn the finish off in places over 2 days of use. Ordered the Matte Black Titanium (they covered the difference in price) 3 hour drive with the wallet in my pocket with the key holder and the black finish had worn off to clean metal over about a 5 mm square. Complained again and just asked if I could change the wallet because I liked the keychain colour. Low and behold second set arrived and it was the same problem. Garbage, I ordered an Aluminium Gunmetal key case and wallet set, first one arrived and the wallet and key chain were a different colour so sent it back for a replacement. There are many copies available at a third of the price now. All email correspondence is now being ignored by Ridge. Then another which DHL said had been delivered to my address which was not the case. I was sent a tracking number to investigate which was wrong. Contacting Ridge again about the non delivery was like they do not believe me. Seems everything comes from the USA and after a couple of weeks I got a message saying they had arrived in the uk and were being shipped to my address by DHL. Eventually I was successful and new plates were on the way.
They sent me down their lifetime guarantee route and started a very laborious process of claiming for new plates. I mailed Ridge to ask for replacement plates which I was willing to pay for. After a while I noticed the aluminium plates had started to bend Into the space where the elastic strap goes. Initially it was very smart and held all the cards I use perfectly. My wife bought me a Ridge wallet as a present.
